On Sept. 30, 2017, Faye Fest, a free, all-day music festival, will take over Fayetteville, Illinois.
For 28 of Deli Star Corporation’s 30 years, Fayetteville has been our home, so it is only fitting that the Fayetteville community play a central role in Deli Star’s upcoming 30th anniversary celebration. Named in honor of Fayetteville, Faye Fest will include entertainment by local, regional and national bands, delicious food and much more.
Yes, Faye Fest is a free event, thanks to the generous support of Deli Star Corporation and our event sponsors.
Faye Fest will take place in Fayetteville Community Park, which is located next door to Deli Star Corporation at 2516 Main Avenue, Fayetteville, IL 62258.
Fayetteville, Illinois, is a small farming community located about 16 miles southeast of Belleville, Illinois, and about 35 miles southeast of St. Louis. The Faye Fest grounds are located in Fayetteville Community Park, located next door to Deli Star Corporation.
Because it is a free event, a ticket is not required to attend Faye Fest. However, tickets are needed to park in our Faye Fest-designated parking lots. We have free parking lots, free handicap-accessible lots, preferred parking lots ($10) and valet parking ($15). It is highly recommended you purchase your parking passes on our Eventbrite page ahead of Faye Fest.
Because this is our inaugural year and because it is a free event, we do not have estimations on how many people will attend Faye Fest this year. However, we expect it to be well-attended.
The Faye Fest gates will open to the general public at 11 a.m. on Saturday, Sept. 30, with the first band scheduled to kick off entertainment at 12 p.m. The Faye Fest will close after the final show of the evening, around 10 p.m.
All ages are welcome at Faye Fest and there will be kid-friendly activities for them to participate in.

Outside food and drink (except for two unopened water bottles) are not allowed at Faye Fest.
A guest requiring insulin is allowed to bring his or her medically necessary materials and medications provided all medicine has a prescription label with the patron’s name. Out of concern for the festival staff and volunteers who handle the trash, please dispose of your medical waste and syringes in the proper disposal located at the medical tent. Please do not dispose of these items in other trash bins at the festival.

• Blankets
• Umbrellas (small hand-held style)
• Baby strollers and wagons
• Baby diaper bag and small baby cooler for baby food
• Electric wheelchairs
• Portable/collapsible chair
• Regular-size bag
• Service animals

These items are not allowed at Faye Fest:
• Alcoholic beverages
• Outside food
• Glass, metal or unsealed containers
• Coolers of any kind (except small baby food coolers)
• Large containers
• Weapons of any kind
• Explosives
• Illegal substances of any kind
• Pets
• Bicycles, skateboards, scooters and personalized motor vehicles. (Please note: This does not include electric wheelchairs, as those are allowed.)
• Fireworks
• Professional recording and/or photography equipment
• Signs and/or banners
Animals and pets are not allowed within the festival grounds. Service animal inquiries can be sent to fayefest@gmail.com.

Safety

Hosting a fun and safe event is our top priority. We are working closely with local law enforcement, the City of Fayetteville and private security teams to ensure we have the appropriate levels of security for our festivalgoers during Faye Fest.
Yes. The Faye Fest footprint, along with the VIP Area, will have a secure perimeter. There will be security at all access control points.
Safety is our top priority at Faye Fest. We are working with local law enforcement to ensure the festival grounds are safe at all hours of the festival.
Faye Fest will take place rain or shine. In instances of severe weather, the safety of our festivalgoers is our top priority. The weather will be closely monitored by Faye Fest organizers, who are working with public emergency personnel and to ensure our inclement weather plan is in place for this year.

Transportation and Parking

Car is the best mode of transportation to get to Faye Fest.
• From Interstate-64: Use exit 23 onto IL-4 South toward Mascoutah. Continue on IL-4 South and make right onto IL-15/Main Avenue. Faye Fest grounds will be on your right.
• From Interstate-255: Use exit 17A onto IL-15 East toward Belleville. Continue on IL-15 East to Fayetteville. Faye Fest grounds will be on your left.
• From Carbondale, Illinois: Take IL-13 West to IL-4 North. Continue on to Main Avenue. Faye Fest grounds will be on your right.
We offer both free and paid options for parking at Faye Fest; however, regardless of lot type, a pass is required for festivalgoers to park in Faye Fest-designated parking lots and to use our valet. To get your pass for our free general admission parking lots, free handicap-accessible lot, preferred parking lots and our valet, please visit our Eventbrite page.
• Free general admission parking: lots are located throughout Fayetteville.
• Preferred parking ($10): lots are located close to the Faye Fest grounds.
• Valet ($15): valet drop-off is located at the entrance to the Deli Star Corporation building on Main Avenue.
• Free handicap-accessible parking: lot is located just east of the Faye Fest grounds. To park in this lot, please enter at the Main Avenue entrance to Deli Star Corporation. Those who park in the handicap-accessible parking lot MUST present their handicap parking permit to the lot attendant on the day of Faye Fest.
The valet drop-off is located at the entrance of Deli Star Corporation, 2516 Main Avenue, Fayetteville, IL 62258. Please look for valet drop-off signage.
We have convenient, free, ADA-accessible parking available just east of the Faye Fest grounds. Please note that free disabled parking space is limited, so please secure your spot by getting a pass via our Eventbrite page. If you have questions about ADA parking and other ADA accommodations, please email fayefest@gmail.com.
Faye Fest is a large outdoor venue made up of mostly natural terrain. Festivalgoers may require covering large distances over grassy, uneven, and sometimes muddy surfaces. Faye Fest does not provide wheelchairs for rent or loan. Please make arrangements in advance if a wheelchair is needed.
Yes. We ask that those who are in need of a free golf cart shuttle to please email us at fayefest@gmail.com for arrangements.
Motorcycles are in the same category as cars and trucks and will be accommodated in the same way.

General Event Guidelines

• Entering this event constitutes implied consent of each festivalgoer to Faye Fest’s use of his/her image and/or likeness incidental to any photographic, digital or video use, publication, display, transmission or recording of the event.
• No unauthorized vendors, solicitations, handbills, sampling, giveaway, etc.
• Alcoholic beverages may not be taken in or out of the gates. Video surveillance cameras are present.
